2023 SUMMER SERIES
The UYRC Summer Series will be held at the Uvalde County Fairplex.
Our Summer Series will start promptly at 5:30 PM with Lead Line.

1) UYRC Membership Packet (Per Family) Please print and bring to the first Summer Series rodeo
2) Proof of Negative Coggins test is required for each horse for verification first night of participation. You can upload here. (If you are entering online, there is a place on those forms)

If for some reason we must cancel rodeos, UYRC guarantees at least one point night for the summer series to award prizes. No refunds will be given.
Please take note of a handful of items:
We will not be able to allow a member to participate without the above-completed forms and a copy of proof of a current Negative Coggins. You can upload a copy of your current Coggins here. If you are entering online, you can upload a copy there as well.
Please plan on signing up prior to Tuesday, June 13th via email (UvaldeYouthRodeo@gmail.com), online via our payable entry form or online entry form or in person at our first point night. Pre-entries will be accepted until 3:00 PM on Tuesday, June 13th. Books will open for onsite entries at 4:30 PM. This will help us run our rodeos more efficiently so we can keep everything moving. Payments for entry fees and membership dues can be made in person at our first point night on Tuesday, June 13th. Each family is required to pay a $100 membership fee. If you bring a $500 sponsor on the first point night, your membership fee is waived.
We are asking all members to help us with sponsors for our 2023 series. Please pick up copies on Tuesday or access them on our Sponsorship Information page.
This year we will be holding a UYRC Summer Series Raffle. Each family will be required to sell 15 tickets per child enrolled in UYRC. Tickets are due at our last Summer Series Rodeo on July 11, 2023. The drawing will be held during our Awards Banquet on August 1, 2023.
We will require work points for both our summer series as well as for our 60th Annual Rodeo this summer. We will need everyone to help us where you feel comfortable and able to serve whether it’s with a gate, livestock, or setting up and taking down for events. If you don’t know where or how to help please ask! We would welcome the help of all of our members and their families. We rely on our members and their families to help us make this series a memorable one for our kiddos and we cannot do that without you! Our work point book will be online this year. You may begin signing up for work points the Wednesday before the Tuesday rodeo by clicking on 'Work Point Sign Up' above or by scanning the QR code before the rodeo. Each family is asked to work one point per child enrolled per rodeo. Families will NOT be asked to work our Annual Rodeo this year unless your child is entered.
